TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival

Every year towards the end of June, Vancouver hosts a jazz festival with approximately 300 different concerts in various places around Vancouver. Some of the concerts are ticketed, so you have to buy the tickets ahead of time. However, there are many free concerts in places like Granville Island, outside the Art Gallery, and at David Lam park in Yaletown.

Every year on 3 separate locations, a major street is closed to cars and a big festival is organized for people to enjoy their neighbourhoods. Business owners, community organizations, artists and volunteers come together to promote and celebrate the idea of a more livable city. On this festival you can eat delicious food, listen to live music, and enjoy the many events planned for festival-goers.

Greek Day on Broadway

Where Broadway from McDonald to Blenheim
When Sunday, June 24th
Time 11 A.M. to 9 P.M.

This is a large event that celebrates Greek culture with lots of food, drinks, entertainment, live music, and art! The festival itself has won awards and is a great way to meet people and enjoy the best that Greek culture has to offer.
