Student Residence: Copeland
Hey guys, it’s me Jed, and I wanted to let you guys know about our Copeland residence. The Copeland student residence is exclusively for our students studying at VanWest Kelowna. Studying abroad can be difficult, especially if you also have to find a place to stay. You will definitely have more options if you study in bigger cities like Vancouver or Toronto. But if you are looking to immerse yourself in a truly Canadian experience, you’d probably consider studying in Kelowna. That is where our Copeland student residence comes in.
I recently got to stay in this newly renovated shared home and I must say it is an amazing living option for VanWest students! Below are three reasons why I believe you should consider staying at our Copeland student residence.
It’s so close to the school!
Believe me when I say the Copeland student residence is super close to the college. It is only a 15-minute walk to the school. Going to school abroad can be costly so being able to save on transport is so convenient.
Many types of rooms to choose from
I think the best part of this shared house is that there are a variety of room types. Copeland will most likely have the right room and amenities for you! The rooms, of course, are subject to availability but the room options are as follows:
- Single room with private bath
- Single room with shared bath
- Double room with shared bath
The rooms are fully furnished with the basics too! Every room is equipped with a bed, desk, chair, closet, and storage.
It’s for VanWest students only!
This student residence is a shared house exclusively for VanWest College Kelowna students. This means you won’t be alone at the house, you will be with your classmates. I think that makes an awesome opportunity for an amazing experience. You won’t be living with strangers like most student residences. You will most likely be living with someone among your peers!
