VanWest College Celebrates Its 30 Year Anniversary

This year, VanWest College is celebrating 30 years of excellence and leadership in teaching English as an additional language. Since 1988 we have been proudly delivering quality education, helping international students achieve their career and educational goals while upholding a tradition of excellence and innovation.

Introducing Our New Logo

As part of our growth, VanWest is proud to introduce a new, modernized logo. It reflects the core elements of our institution. The Sun, the Book, and the Maple Leaf symbolize the new life and opportunities that you gain through being a VanWest student in Canada, which you then take with you in all your future endeavors.
With this logo, we want to capture the energy and the life VanWest students and staff have. By changing from a wine red colour to a brighter red, we hope to communicate the energy, life, and passion of our students. They bring this here with them as they challenge themselves to study in a foreign country. They use it as they embark upon their studies with the support of the school. After graduation, this same passion carries them through to find new opportunities either in Canada or back home, equipped with a new set of skills. The red also represents hard work and the feeling of hands-on experience. This sets VanWest apart from other colleges that usually focus on Dreams; here, we Do.

A Bright Future

Our school is going strong. We are continually growing as we strive to meet the growing needs of our current and prospective students. Our new career college has had great success, allowing students to combine academic studies with 100% paid co-op guarantee. Our English for Families program continues to expand. We will also soon be opening a second Vancouver campus.
We look forward to these and many more changes to come in the future, and hope to celebrate another 30 years with our staff, students, and partners.
