こんにちは！VanWest College日本人カウンセラーのSaraです。 あっという間に夏が過ぎ、カナダはすっかり秋になりました。 これから美しい紅葉の季節が始まります！ さて今日は当校の人気コースの１つ、 English for Academic Purposes（EAP）についてご案内していきたいと思います。 EAPって何？ English for Academic Purposesは、英語圏のカレッジや大学に進学する方が必要とするアカデミック英語力を付けるコースです。伝えたいことを論理的に分かりやすく構成し書いたり話したりするトレーニングが出来るので、将来お仕事で英語を使いたい方にもおすすめのコースです。 生徒さんの声 実際にEAPを受講されたRyoさんがコースの感想を書いてくださいました＾＾ Q：一番面白かった授業はどんな内容でしたか？ EAP 200: 毎週宿題として課されるエッセイです。最初は書くのに苦労しましたが、丁寧に先生が指導してくれてライティングの基礎を学ぶことができました。毎週異なったスタイルのエッセイを書くのも面白かったです。 EAP 300: 一番はプレゼンです。毎週金曜行われるプレゼンですが、今まで英語でプレゼンをしたことがなかったので非常に苦労しました。ですが毎回的確なアドバイスをもらって、毎週少しずつ上達を感じることができました。また曜日ごとに割り振られている宿題も非常に為になったと思います。エッセイのアウトラインを宿題として作り、授業で決められた時間内にエッセイを書くといったものや、Ted Talk などの動画をみて 400 語程の感想をブログに書き込むといったものです。英語で書く力が非常に鍛えられたと思います。 Q：先生はどうでしたか？...
